This restaurant might not look like much but the people and food make you feel like you've gone to the Caribbean. THIS IS A MUST TRY!! not a suggestion a demand! Their food is THAT good. :) To put it nicely the food was so delicious I had forgotten to take photos of the main course! We tried the cheese Empanadas which were amazing- filled with cheese flakey crust-amazing! I highly recommend dipping them in their house sauce (no name- pink hue). For the main course we tried the Pollo Guisado - a chicken stew with carrots and potatoes. The stew was phenomenal!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned well. 10/10 Pernil - Pork with Swiss Sandwich. The pork was so delicious, it melted in your mouth. This is the Perfect way to serve pork. Also a nice pairing with their house sauce (optional). 15/10 The sweet plantains as a side were so heavenly. I haven't had plantains served better at any restaurant. Highly recommend!!! 10/10 The only thing I regret or was unhappy about was not being able to try more! They also had freshly made desserts that looked amazing.

This place had the most deliciously seasoned food! The empanadas were flaky where they needed to be and they did not skimp on the meats on the inside. I was able to get delicious Hispanic food and Jamaican food. The owner came out to help us personally and was so friendly! I almost forgot about the daiquiri. It was so well put together I forgot there was alcohol in it. It went perfect with our meals. I will definitely be back before I leave the area.

This is just one of those places that did nothing but surprise us. The server was great, the service was a little slow, however the food made more than up for it. It was so incredibly delicious. A true home cooked meal. We've had a group of 6 and we all ate plenty. We did try some of the appetizers, and weren't disappointed. The empanadas are so fluffy, and taste great even cold!!! Great place, I will return!

I have traveled all over the Caribbean and have eaten all over as well. Mr. Joe does not disappoint! Just like the culture and the way they eat he’s extremely excited to bring you in and treat you to his culture and heritage of cooking and food. Ox tail is a go to staple if you have never had it it is very similar to a roast with more flavor . The plantain is the best I have the sweet just goes well with the food , yellow rice is just how I remember from the travels . This is a must if you want comfort food from the Caribbean cuisine.

**SAVORY** Quaint place with the most pleasant a friendly staff. When they got a little busy they were extremely apologetic and tended to my needs as best they could. I believe I arrived at the most busiest time of day (around 1200-1400) which made parking a little difficult. At first, due to parking, I was a little perturbed but once I received my food it was bliss at first bite. It reminded me of my families cooking which I only get during the holidays. So now if I want a taste of home I will almost ALWAYS come to this little hole in the wall. 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend, especially to anyone seeking authentic Spanish food. they offer military discount

The meal was great but the cabbage was amazing and it will definitely bring me back. It's the best cabbage I've ever had I don't know what seasonings they use but it was scrumptious

THIS PLACE WAS BOMB! Service, ambiance, and the quality of and taste of the food was phenomenal. The owner even provided my sister with some candy free of cost. I highly recommend the Cuban Sandwich, the pork was delectable, the ingredients were nice and fresh. The fries here are garlicky and crisp! My mom got the pollo guisado it was tender, flavorful and colorful. The rice was perfect! The frozen fruit drinks were also great. Before you leave make sure to stop by the bakery!
